CoMo Tai Chi is a legacy of Kenny Greene.
In the early 1970's he was introduced to Professor Huo who was teaching in Saint Louis. Kenny would bring back what he learned to Columbia and share with the locals in Columbia. In 1975, Kenny started teaching to the public in the basement of a local Gold's gym. Many years went by, many locations came and went but Kenny kept teaching where he could, passionate about spreading the benefits of practice.
By the early 2000's Kenny was firmly established every Saturday at Peace Park and weekday classes at the downtown Armory. He was the sole teacher until 2019 when Covid came and demanded change. In 2021 the group slowly reformed and with new teachers, Dan Miller, John Gage, Stefen Gray, Ryan Nichols, Catharine Mouton, and Chris Alexander.
Kenny continued his role as the magnanimous patriarch until his passing in early 2026.
